EXCELLENT CONCERT AT CAFE’ OTO WITH ROBERTO PACI DALO’ AND SCANNER – WEDNESDAY 5 OCTOBER 2022 @SUONO GRASSO / LONDON
Wednesday evening saw the second soirée of the molecular festival SUONO GRASSO at Café OTO in London. On the parterre, among others, was the extraordinary duo of Roberto Paci Dalò and Robin Rimbaud, better known as Scanner. The two artists had already collaborated together on the album THE MAYA EFFECT (2011, The Art of Listening), an excellent work of live electronic experimentation. The Scanner-Paci Dalò duo therefore got together again for a completely improvised set of live electronics + clarinet. And it was a great success! Special thanks go to Emilia Romagna Music Commission!
Robin Rimbaud / Scanner writes “Such a pleasure to perform at Café OTO last night in London, with my fine pal Roberto Paci Dalò, for the Emilia-Romagna Music Commission . Given the challenges of travelling at present with the train strikes, I am extremely grateful for the extra effort so many people made to attend, and it was a genuine joy to see friends there too!! The live set was recorded and filmed, so here’s hoping that it can be shared with you all one day too. All photos by Dimitri Djuric. “
