The official teaser for the BOOK+CD (a SONIC GRAPHIC NOVEL of absolute brilliance) MARTINO L’UTERINO is available today. It will be published on June 3rd by Rizosfera-NUKFM as a 200-page full-color book by Emanuela Biancuzzi and Vittore Baroni, accompanied by a CD featuring music by Le Forbici di Manitù. The teaser is created by Gabriele Fantuzzi for Delicatessen Design, with images by Emanuela Biancuzzi and textual contributions by Vittore Baroni. Emanuela Biancuzzi (Cividale del Friuli, 1970) – Visual artist, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice focusing on relational art, educational projects related to contemporary art, cultural events, graphic design, and editorial illustration. Her artistic production, in a hallucinatory combination of inks, acrylics, collages, and mixed techniques, mainly includes illustrations and images for publishing, illustrated books, album covers, newspapers, periodicals, animated logos, stage designs, and underground comics. From 1994 to the present, she has participated in over a hundred exhibitions. She has exhibited in France, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, and in many Italian cities, publishing, among others, for AAA Edizioni, Stripburger, Kite Edizioni, VivaComix, Coconino Press, Penguin Random House, Edizioni Passpartout. For Rizosfera, in 2024 she has drawn the illustrations for the audio-graphic novel “THE HYSTEROCOMIC ADVENTURES OF MARTINO THE UTERINE” (text by Vittore Baroni) with music by the group Le Forbici di Manitù (NUKFM023).
Vittore Baroni (Forte dei Marmi, 1956) – Music journalist (Rockerilla, Rumore, Blow Up) and artist, since the mid-’70s he has been actively involved in mail art, visual poetry, and comics. He has written and curated various essays on contemporary music and aspects of “network cultures” that anticipated the Internet. He has organized exhibitions, events, publications, and collective projects in the field of mail art, audio art, and street art. He was a co-creator of seminal networking projects such as the modular system TRAX (with Piermario Ciani and others), the multiple names Lieutenant Murnau and Luther Blissett, the assemblage magazines Arte Postale! and BAU Contenitore di Cultura Contemporanea, the Decentralized World Congresses Art Detox 2010 and Mail Art Wave 2022. For over thirty years, he has been part of the music group Le Forbici di Manitù, with which he has recorded about fifteen albums for various international labels. For Rizosfera, in 2024 he has written the texts for MARTINO L’UTERINO ( the title can be translated in English as THE HYSTEROCOMIC ADVENTURES OF MARTINO THE UTERINE) and the lyrics for Le Forbici di Manitù’s CD.
