Vittore Baroni (Forte dei Marmi, 1956) – Music journalist (Rockerilla, Rumore, Blow Up) and artist, since the mid-’70s he has been actively involved in mail art, visual poetry, and comics. He has written and curated various essays on contemporary music and aspects of “network cultures” that anticipated the Internet. He has organized exhibitions, events, publications, and collective projects in the field of mail art, audio art, and street art. He was a co-creator of seminal networking projects such as the modular system TRAX (with Piermario Ciani and others), the multiple names Lieutenant Murnau and Luther Blissett, the assemblage magazines Arte Postale! and BAU Contenitore di Cultura Contemporanea, the Decentralized World Congresses Art Detox 2010 and Mail Art Wave 2022. For over thirty years, he has been part of the music group Le Forbici di Manitù, with which he has recorded about fifteen albums for various international labels.
