We are pleased to announce the completion of the recording sessions by the electronic musician and sound-sculptor Samora for the Quasar album-project. Quasar was recorded in London, Cagliari and Reggio Emilia between 2016 and 2018. The music was composed by Enrico Marani with Eraldo Bernocchi, guitars, and Silvia Corda, piano and piano prepared, xylophone. Quasar was produced and mixed by Enrico Marani at MovingBOX studios in the winter of 2018, and subsequently mastered in London (UK) in February 2019 by Eraldo Bernocchi at Transmutation Studios. The album Quasar, the fifth for Samora, will be released for the label NUKFM :: Rizosfera during 2019.
SAMORA is the solo project as a ‘sound sculptor’ by Enrico Marani (TAC, Forbici di Manitù, Sarang, 2Blue, Duozero). The first album “The Unspeakable” comes out for the label Psychonavigation (2012) and sees collaborations with Christine Hanson, voice, and Franco Bertossa, texts. In September 2014, the album “Lontano” comes out for the Irish label Psychonavigation with the voice of Steve Kilbey of the Australian band THE CHURCH. The last two albums that mark more the acoustic territory of Samora as sound architectures and electroacoustic sculptures are “The Gift” (WhereAmbientLives, 2017) and “Kaleidos” (Databloem, 2018).
