It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Emanuela Biancuzzi, a visionary illustrator, painter, cartoonist, and all-round visual artist of extraordinary talent. After a long and painful illness, she leaves us as a luminous, bold, and ironic force of nature who inspired countless through her artistry. Rizosfera had the profound privilege of publishing her final masterpiece, Le Isterocomiche Avventure di Martino l’Uterino. This daring and vitalistic work, created over the last eight years of her life while she courageously battled her illness, stands as a testament to her enduring spirit, creativity, and immense talent. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Vittore Baroni and Andrea Landini for facilitating the connection with Emanuela Biancuzzi, an artist who will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
