Luca Di Mira writes: “It’s finally time to share more about what I’ve been working on these past few years. I’m excited to announce my new album, created during a period that has left a deep, lasting impression on all of us. This impact is reflected in the music itself—woven through the piano lines, string melodies, and synth arpeggios. I composed, recorded, produced, and mixed the album between 2020 and 2021. It was then mastered at Black Knoll Studio in New York by Rafael Anton Irisarri. The album, titled Steps, will be released on September 20 by RIZOZDB, a brand new collaboration between Rizosfera and ZdB. Steps is a nine-track musical journey, capturing the range of emotions experienced during the pandemic—fears, instability, separation, and isolation. It’s a reflection on how we’ve had to process wounds that, in many ways, are still healing. This album is a deeply personal expression of my journey. It represents both the marks this period has left on me and a walk toward light and love. The album will be available in two formats: a digipack CD and a 12-page booklet + CD. The graphic design has been skillfully crafted by Gabriele Fantuzzi at Delicatessen Design Studio. You’ll find Steps on all major streaming platforms, with physical copies available in stores. The booklet version is exclusively available on the Rizosfera web store: https://rizosfera.org/en/shop/rizozdb01ldm24/
