2Blue was a brilliant avant-garde presence between 2002 and 2004 in the new Italian electronic music scene of the 21st century. They consistently blended electronic elements, poetry, architecture, the science of breakbeat, and hypnotic music influenced by the industrial-new wave tradition. A prodigy of sound, with a rich visual and artistic imagination, their two unique works, 'Light Transmission' and 'Fattore Sonoro,' released by KFM in 2003, are considered masterpieces. They bestowed upon 2Blue the enduring aura of an absolute cult group.
The members of the 2Blue project were Luca 'DJ Rocca' Roccatagliati and Enrico Marani. The artistic-musical project originated within the relational network of the Maffia Illicit Music Club (1995-2008), a venue in Reggio Emilia that played a prominent role in the development and consecration of new post-techno and post-rave sounds from the 1990s onwards.
