DJ ROCCA / LUCA ROCCATAGLIATI – THE INFINITE LADDER / 2 BLUE REWORKS (NUKFM 018)
Spectral Unit is the new spectralist “sound sculpture” project formed by ADI NEWTON (CLOCK DVA) and ENRICO MARANI (SAMORA). This is the first collaboration between two Masters of electronic-industrial research sound and a clamorous debut! “Preternatural” is the first album of this extraordinary «Pataphysics of ghosts» research project.
DJ Rocca / Luca Roccatagliati is the new “disambient” research project curated by LUCA ROCCATAGLIATI (whose nom de plume is DJ ROCCA) in which the Reggio Emilia musician reverses the material of the electronic group 2Blue’s “advanced sound painting” by elaborating a deep cinematic, dark and dramatic version in which layered bass, drones, breakbeat science, echoes of jazz, dub and cosmic matter dominate. “The Infinite Ladder / 2 Blue Reworks” is the first «dis-ambient» research project by DJ Rocca, a versatile electronic artist who for years has been on a long free electronics path that has led him to collaborate with such European luminaries of improvised jazz as Franco D’Andrea and Giovanni Guidi.
