Summer closure and the beginning of the Rough Trade agreement: the second July newsletter is out
Two pieces of news in a single mail: one carries a deadline, the other picks up a story left unfinished.
The warehouse closes on July 30th
The Rizosfera warehouse falls silent for three weeks: it closes on July 30th and reopens on August 24th. Every order placed on the European shop by July 30th will be packed and dispatched before the doors close. The shop stays open all through August — orders are welcome at any time — but anything received after July 30th will ship from August 25th onwards, in the order it arrived.
For those who would rather not wait there is an alternative: the Rizosfera America online shop observes no summer closure and remains fully operational, with regular shipments, throughout the month of August.
Worth remembering that copies of Second Sight by Clock DVA are thinning out: the standard 2LP is running low in Europe, and the Special Edition — 100 numbered copies, signed by Adi Newton — is already past half of its run. Alongside them, now available as stand-alone items, the CD in its A5 digipak carrying the unreleased track Re_Amna, and Paolo Bertoni’s book Adi Newton: Second Sight.
Rizosfera and Rough Trade: an old thread picked up again
In the year Rough Trade turns fifty, Rizosfera returns to its shelves. Rough Trade is now the exclusive UK retailer for the Rizosfera / ARMComm Europe catalogue: five titles are on pre-order at roughtrade.com, available across the seven UK shops and through their international mail order. The UK release date is September 4th.

For the United States, the Americas and Oceania nothing changes: Second Sight arrives on September 23rd through Rizosfera America and AMS.
