Clock DVA in Munich — Free & Easy Festival, 2 August 2026
On Sunday 2 August, Clock DVA will take to the stage of the Backstage in Munich, as part of Free & Easy Festival 2026, the free-entry summer festival that has long been a reference point for independent music in Germany.
A significant bill: alongside Clock DVA, Canada’s Front Line Assembly — the project of Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, the latter also performing solo. On the same stage, on the same night, two fundamental trajectories of industrial electronics: the one born in 1978 Sheffield around Adi Newton’s vision, and the one that redefined the electro-industrial sound from Vancouver onwards through the Eighties and beyond. An encounter that captures the international standing Newton’s project continues to hold within the scene.
The Munich date sits within a summer of intense live activity for the CDVA galaxy: two weeks ago, on 18 July, The Anti Group performed at VOD Fest in Friedrichshafen alongside Esplendor Geométrico, Lydia Lunch with Marc Hurtado, and Zos-Kia. It is the sign of a living, moving phase, running in parallel with the media and recording rediscovery set off by the Second Sight Project.
This page intends to be the reference point for following the live activity of Clock DVA and Adi Newton’s projects: here we will document, date after date, past concerts and future announcements.
Second Sight, the Clock DVA double LP, is available on the Rizosfera online shop: https://rizosfera.org/en/shop/armeuv008/
