MICHAEL SOMERSET WARD — NO ORDINARY RACONTEUR (ARMEU009) &
ADI NEWTON & MICHAEL SOMERSET WARD — DIMIDIUM ORACULI (ARMEU010)
The pre-orders open tomorrow
On Friday 9th October at 7am in Italy — 6am in the UK — the pre-orders open for the two new Armcomm Europe titles: numbers 9 and 10 in the catalogue.
NO ORDINARY RACONTEUR — Michael Somerset Ward (ARMEU009)
The first Michael Somerset Ward album, recorded in Sheffield. Twelve tracks on the 33rpm vinyl, fifteen on the CD A5 digifile. Mastered by Giuseppe Ielasi. Cover and paintings by Adi Newton, who also lends his voice to Delphic Response and Half-Life.
300 copies of each format. Vinyl 32 euro, CD A5 digifile 20 euro, vinyl + CD 52 euro.
DIMIDIUM ORACULI — Adi Newton & Michael Somerset Ward (ARMEU010)
This is the tenth work Rizosfera publishes with Armcomm Europe, and for that reason it is dedicated exclusively to our community. A mini LP of four tracks, two to a side: 27 minutes of new music, two reworkings by Michael on side A and two by Adi on side B. It’s a work of art: music, paintings and poetry that waited more than forty years to manifest!
300 copies in all: 200 in the open edition at 25 euro, 100 numbered and signed by Adi Newton at 50 euro.
Dimidium Oraculi is not distributed and is never sold on its own. It exists only together with No Ordinary Raconteur: two Dimidium Oraculi editions by three No Ordinary Raconteur configurations, six bundles in all, from 45 to 102 euro.
THE DATES
Pre-order from 9th October, 7am in Italy — 6am in the UK.
Out 6th November 2026. In the United Kingdom and the United States No Ordinary Raconteur, both vinyl and CD, arrives on 20th November.
Every copy carries access to Rizostream, where No Ordinary Raconteur has one track more than the CD: sixteen in all.
At the same hour, the Delphic Response film, edited by Adi Newton, and the Dimidium Oraculi teaser both go online.
HOW TO ORDER
The links to the two pages arrive tomorrow at 7am in Italy — 6am in the UK — with the Rizosfera newsletter. If you are not subscribed yet, the form is at the foot of every shop page: it is the most direct way to receive the links the moment the pre-order opens.
