Rizosfera & PC PRESS at KISMIF 2026 — Adi Newton at Casa da Música, Porto
It is with great pride that we announce our presence at KISMIF 2026, the international conference on DIY cultures, underground scenes and the thinking that runs through them — this year under the banner DIY Cultures, Global Uncertainty and Critical Imagination.
On 8 July
Adi Newton (Clock DVA, The Anti Group) in conversation with Peter Webb (PC Press) on Life, Art and Music.
And we do so in a place that is itself a statement: Casa da Música, designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA, inaugurated in 2005 for Porto’s year as European Capital of Culture and awarded the prestigious RIBA prize. A faceted monolith of white concrete that has become an icon of contemporary European architecture, conceived to host every form of music — from classical to the most experimental electronic work. The perfect setting for a live dialogue with one of the most visionary and radical artists in electronic and industrial culture: almost fifty years of nonconformist sonic research, from the Sheffield avant-garde to the present day.
The event also marks the presentation of Adi Newton: Second Sight, the book by Paolo Bertoni, published by PC Press (UK) and Rizosfera–NUKFM (worldwide): the fullest portrait yet of Adi Newton’s journey.
