13.05.2025 ACQUATICO :: EVENT SHOW :: TEATRO DELLE PASSIONI, MODENA, 8.30PM ::
The Centro Musica di Modena, in collaboration with Rizosfera and the Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Modena, presents the results of the Sonitus 2025 artistic residency (concluded last January 2025) as part of the L’altrosuono Festival on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

The project was curated by sound designer Giuseppe Cordaro, alongside sound artist Valerio Cosi, with guest artists Loredana Antonelli (visuals) and Ginevra Nervi (music & electronics).
During the residency, the artists developed a sonic dialogue inspired by water—both as a symbol and as sound. Water serves as both inspiration and instrument, with glasses, hydrophones, and other aqueous sources enriching the sonic experimentation, opening pathways to new musical worlds.
“Acquatico” is part of the Sonitus Project, developed with Rizosfera under the activities of Modena UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts.
