The presentation of The Eternal Partisan. Fragments for an Epic of Liberation (published by Compagnia Editoriale Aliberti) by Caterina Zamboni Russia will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at Multiplo – Centro Cultura in Cavriago (Reggio Emilia, Italy).

Multiplo is the municipal library and cultural center of Cavriago.

Context:
In the 80th anniversary year of Italy’s Liberation, a book titled The Eternal Partisan carries a profound meaning: it grapples with the inevitable passing of the last surviving partisans. What remains of the Resistance struggle? How can we preserve and honor that legacy?

Within these pages, the partisan narrative transcends into an absolute ideal of liberation—where the eternity of memory becomes an antidote to earthly disappearance. The present moment and the partisan era emerge as fragments of a historical chain, testifying to the enduring struggle between the demands of history and the timeless epic of resistance.
