Caterina Zamboni Russia is a philosophy researcher. She is coauthor of the text La macchia mongolica (Baldini+Castoldi, 2017). She is the author of the monograph La più piccola repubblica d’Europa. Paul Desjardins e le Décades di Pontigny (Il Melangolo, 2023). In 2025 she edited and translated Rosa Luxemburg’s correspondence in Nuvole, uccelli e lacrime umane. Lettere su natura e rivoluzione (NdA Press) and published the essay L’eterno partigiano. Frammenti per un’epica della liberazione (Compagnia Editoriale Aliberti). She is currently PHD student at Università degli studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia where she continues her research on the life and work of Paul Desjardins. She published in journals such as Satisfiction, DEP. Deportate, esuli, profughe and Thaumazein. She is president of Terre Native ETS, an association dedicated to understanding the need for territorial rootedness, practicing and narrating roots, ties, and place identities.
