Paolo Bertetti
Professor at the University Guglielmo Marconi. Former Vice President of the Italian Association for Semiotic Studies (AISS), he specializes in mass media, transmedia studies, and semiotic theory. He is also interested in genres and the imaginary of contemporary popular culture.
He is the scientific coordinator of Mufant – Museum of Science Fiction and the Fantastic in Turin. Among his publications are: Il mito Conan (2011), Il discorso audiovisivo (2012), Lo schermo dell’apparire (2013), Transmedia Archaeology (with C. Scolari and M. Freeman, 2014; Italian edition 2020), Transmedia Branding (with Giuseppe Segreto, 2020), and Che cos’è la transmedialità (2020).
