The artistic residency\u00a0SONITUS 2024-2025<\/strong>, focused on\u00a0field recording<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0sound manipulation<\/strong>, culminated in an original production.<\/p>\n On\u00a0Saturday, January 18, 2025<\/strong>, the composition born from the residency\u00a0“Sonitus 2024\/2025 – Acquatico”<\/strong>\u00a0was previewed at\u00a0La Torre del Centro Musica in Modena<\/strong>. The project explored the influence of\u00a0water<\/strong>\u00a0in sound experimentation through a\u00a0multidisciplinary approach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Coordinated by\u00a0Giuseppe Cordaro<\/strong>\u00a0and sound artist\u00a0Valerio Cosi<\/strong>, with contributions from\u00a0Loredana Antonelli (visuals)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ginevra Nervi (electronics)<\/strong>, the project resulted in a\u00a0collective work<\/strong>\u00a0where\u00a0sound and visuals merged into an immersive experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Alongside the tutors, the four selected artists performed:<\/p>\n Alessio Vanni<\/strong>\u00a0(sound design)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Leonardo Pini<\/strong>\u00a0(guitar)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Gabriele Genta<\/strong>\u00a0(percussion)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Giovanni Fiorani<\/strong>\u00a0(sound design)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The final piece developed an\u00a0innovative language<\/strong>, blending\u00a0hydrophonic recordings, electroacoustic processing, and improvisation<\/strong>, creating an ever-evolving\u00a0sound flow<\/strong>.\u00a0Water<\/strong>\u00a0served as both\u00a0subject and instrument<\/strong>, with its\u00a0natural rhythms<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0fluid timbres<\/strong>\u00a0inspiring\u00a0unprecedented musical structures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n On the\u00a0Rizostream platform<\/strong>, you can now listen to:<\/p>\n The\u00a0live recording<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Acquatico<\/em>‘s debut performance at\u00a0La Torre (Modena) on January 18, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0(mixed and mastered by\u00a0Valerio Cosi<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The\u00a0audiovisual recording<\/strong>\u00a0filmed by director\u00a0Ali Beidoun<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Teatro delle Passioni (Modena) on May 13, 2025<\/strong>, as part of the\u00a0L’Altro Suono Festival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
