A performance exploring the influence of water on sound experimentation, through recording techniques, signal sampling, and real-time audio production\/manipulation. A symbol of flow, transformation, and harmony, water embodies concepts at the heart of music\u2014its dynamics, changes, and constant adaptations. Water becomes an instrument through the musical use of objects that produce aquatic sounds, such as glasses or hydrophones, opening new sonic dimensions and opportunities for creative experimentation, inspiring fresh compositional and performative approaches.<\/p>\n

On stage: sound designer and residency curator\u00a0Giuseppe Cordaro<\/strong>, sound artist\u00a0Valerio Cosi<\/strong>, guest artists\u00a0Loredana Antonelli (visuals)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ginevra Nervi (music & electronics)<\/strong>, along with musicians\u00a0Alessio Vanni (sound design)<\/strong>,\u00a0Leonardo Pini (guitar)<\/strong>,\u00a0Gabriele Genta (percussion)<\/strong>, and\u00a0Giovanni Fiorani (sound design)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfbc\u00a0The composition stems from exploring water\u2019s influence\u2014with its symbolic properties\u2014on sound experimentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2139\ufe0f\u00a0“Acquatico”<\/strong>\u00a0is a production born within the\u00a0Sonitus artistic residency project<\/strong>, in collaboration with\u00a0Rizosfera<\/strong>, as part of the activities linked to\u00a0Modena UNESCO Creative City for Media Arts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
