On Monday, April 7th<\/strong>, the new music video by\u00a0Bitpop Music Videos<\/strong>\u00a0(directed by Domenico Morreale) for\u00a0\u201cMantra delle ombre\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0Enten Hitti<\/strong>\u00a0will be released on\u00a0Rizosfera<\/strong>. The track is taken from their album\u00a0Mistiche Ribelli<\/strong>\u00a0(Lizard Records, 2025).<\/h3>\n

The video takes shape from the sequences of\u00a0Lotte Reiniger\u2019s Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed (1926)<\/strong>, transforming into a\u00a0shadow theater<\/strong>\u00a0where archival footage and musical instruments merge into a symbolic dance.<\/h3>\n

In the video\u00a0Mantra delle ombre<\/em>, the visual and conceptual construction is based on a double metaphor. On one hand, the shadow theater frames the narrative, incorporating both images from\u00a0Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed<\/em>\u00a0(1926)\u2014the first film made using the animated shadow technique\u2014and the silhouettes of the musicians. The images are reflected in a symmetry that recomposes the film’s sequences into new animated panels.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On the other hand, the mask becomes a symbol of a perceptual threshold: eyes that open and close in an alternation between sleep and awareness, between emotion and detachment from the shadows that guide life. Always present, the mask outlines the face of the spectator, who in turn reflects and absorbs the gazes of the musicians, their eyes alternating behind it. What emerges is a play of mirrors between observer and observed, between personal shadows and those represented in the shadow theater, between hypnotic music and mental images.<\/strong><\/h3>\n
