DJ Rocca<\/strong> is a versatile electronic artist, born artistically in the love of jazz and black African American music. He is a kind of two-faced Janus: his artistic personality is divided into two fronts. The first is represented by his love for more creative deejaying related to the world of house, Italo disco, and productions related to the world of more black music-oriented dance music. But the second side of his articulate artistic personality is related to experimentation in the electronic field, which led him to found Rizosfera<\/strong>, with other artists and philosophers, and to be one of the most appreciated electronic producers in the field of Italian and European free jazz, leading him to collaborate with stars of avant-garde jazz such as Franco D’Andrea<\/strong> (with whom he has recorded three albums) and Giovanni Guidi<\/strong> (ECM records), with whom he is about to release a new album for the Rome auditorium’s label, Parco della Musica<\/strong>. For Rizosfera, the NUKFM<\/strong> sub-label, Luca Roccatagliati<\/strong> is about to release a new album of experimentation between cinematic inflections, breakbeat science and drone music. The album is titled “The Infinite Ladder \/ 2 Blue Reworks<\/strong>” and sees DJ Rocca working to redefine 2Blue<\/strong>‘s drone\/ambient breaks into a sonic reversal more related to cinematic and disambient dimensions, layering with astral electronic jazz and bass sounds this amazing time-travel between the most erudite electronica.<\/p>\n
