This is a News Update to confirm the Production. A New Double Album (PSYCHOPHYSICIST II) is in Pre Production finalisation for Mastering in the coming weeks the Details of the Album and pre order and Sample Audio \/ video promotion will be posted in 2023 in the run up to Pre release. Psychophysicist<\/strong>: A project founded by Adi Newton<\/strong> & Andrew Mackenzie<\/strong> in 1993\/4 \u00a0to develop Psychophysics and Psychoacoustic & electronics in applied Sonology. Psychophysicist<\/strong> being the name of the \u00a0Project and the self titled name of the first Release (Side Effects, 1996). The project has now been re activated by Founder Adi Newton and new material is being developed with Fabio Kubic (Coagulant)<\/strong> for further Releases. Creative mastering by Jac Beloeil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Another high-level contributor to Psychophysicist double album is Mauricio Reyes. Mauricio Reyes<\/strong> has re-engineered The Sone of Total Proximity <\/b>(<\/i>18 minutes track featured in \u00abPsychophysicist II\u00bb). This production focuses on Acoustic phenomena, sound vibrations; compressions and rarefactions.<\/p>\n

From Wikipedia: Psychophysics is a branch of psychology that studies the relationships that exist between defined and measurable physical stimuli (light, tactile, acoustic, etc.) and the response, understood as the perceived intensity linked to the stimuli.
\nThere are real studies on this subject, and very extensive ones. The most famous and pioneering: ‘Elements of Psychophysics<\/strong>‘ written by Gustav Fechner<\/strong>, a German psychologist and, indeed, the founder of psychophysics.<\/p>\n

Gustav Fechner – Founder of psychophysics<\/span><\/h2>\n

Gustav Fechner<\/strong> was a German experimental psychologist. He was a early pioneer in experimental psychology and founder of psychophysics. He postulated that mind and body, though appearing to be separate entities, are actually different sides of one reality. He also developed experimental procedures, still useful in experimental psychology, for measuring sensations in relation to the physical magnitude of stimuli. Philosophically Fechner defended a monism in which the one world can be seen in one way physically and in the other mentally. Experimentally he sought to confirm this insight by discovering close quantitative relationships between conscious experience and physiological stimulus, eventually discovering the law that the intensity of a sensation increases as the log of the stimulus (S = k log R)<\/b> characterizing psychophysical relations. This law proved\u00a0 the existence of evidence-based connection between body and psyche. This formula was named the Fechner-Weberlaw,<\/b> because it based on the theory of the just-noticeable difference, advanced earlier by Ernst Heinrich Weber. He developed experimental procedures for measuring sensations in relation to the physical magnitude of stimuli. He proposed the three methods of measurement were the method of just-noticeable differences, the method of constant stimuli, and the method of average error.\u00a0 According to the authorities, the method of constant stimuli, called also the method of right and wrong cases, has become the most important of the three methods.
\nIn philosophy he was also an animist, maintaining that life is manifest in allobjects of the universe. Fechner called his conception Tagesansicht<\/em> (Day Vision), unlike his contemporary materialism – Nachtansicht<\/em> (Night Vision). His greatest achievement was in the investigation of exact relationships in psychology and aesthetics. He demonstrated that since the mind can be measurable and understood mathematically, it is possible calculation in psychology. He hoped to organize psychophysics and metaphysics in a way that united philosophy and the human sciences.<\/p>\n
