This night, jointly organized by CTM and transmediale – festival for art and digital culture berlin, combines music, sound and intermedia performance. With his performance lecture Chthonia, Wesley Goatley presents a conversation between Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri that will reveal their hidden politics and the limits of AI technologies. The Demystification Committee’s ECHO FX (TDC works with Rizosfera\/Mille Plateaux labels) re-enacts the Brexit vote through echoes of misinformation spread across networks. The complex interweaving of bodies, sex, technology and plastic is the theme of Johanna Bruckner’s dance and media performance Sym-poetic Desires. xin shreds fragments of neurofunk, hardcore and dubstep, as can be heard on her debut LP Melts Into Love. Pati\u00f1o & Schuttel will premiere a new work entitled No Laughing Matter that examines laughter in terms of physical presence and acousmatic sound. emptyset present a live version of Blossoms, their latest album for thrill jockey. In the column, the underground protagonists from Hong Kong, Absurd Trax, present a night together with Berlin’s radical contemporary design collective Selam X.
