Origine

Origine, con_cetta’s third full-length album and first solo release in nine years, consists of eight new compositions with a total duration of something more than 30 minutes. Meticulously built up from simple abstract piano melodies, harmonious ambient drones, washes of electronic treatments and heavily processed guitars, field recordings and manipulated found sounds, Origine is a mesmerizing and enchanting album full of emotional and evocative sonic vignettes, rich in tone and texture.
The finishing touch on the sound of Origine was applied by the carefully done mastering of George Mastrokostas (aka Absent Without Leave), adding an organic warmth to its majestic soundscapes.
